1. What this policy covers
This policy covers Evident service contracts with the provider below, including consumers’ statutory rights. The public waitlist is free and does not create a paid subscription. If you have a separate paid contract, your order determines its price and term. This policy does not replace any more favorable individual refund promise or mandatory right.

2. Consumer withdrawal instructions (Widerrufsbelehrung)
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer entering into a distance contract for our services, you have the right to withdraw from that contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise this right, inform Jannis Arndt - Programmierung und Handel, Oldekopstrasse 38b, 30659 Hannover, Germany, email info@getevident.app, of your decision by an unequivocal statement, for example an email or a letter sent by post. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. Sending your withdrawal before the period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.
The period does not begin before the legally required withdrawal information is provided. If that information is missing, the statutory extended period applies; for the service contracts covered here, the right generally expires no later than 12 months and 14 days after the ordinary starting point.
Effects of withdrawal
We reimburse all payments received from you under the withdrawn service contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur a fee for that reimbursement.
If you expressly requested services to begin during the withdrawal period, you pay an amount proportionate to what was provided until you informed us of withdrawal, compared with the full agreed service, only where the statutory conditions and prior information requirements for that payment are met. Merely logging in or accepting general terms is not such an express request.
3. Starting a service during the withdrawal period
For a paid service, the right of withdrawal expires on complete performance only when the statutory conditions are fulfilled, including your prior express consent to early performance and your acknowledgement that the right will be lost once the contract is fully performed. Access to an ongoing subscription is not complete performance of its entire term.
Cookie consent and acceptance of general service terms are not a request for early performance or an acknowledgement of losing the withdrawal right.
4. Model withdrawal form (Muster-Widerrufsformular)
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw. You can copy it into an email or print it. Delete whichever wording does not apply.

I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/we (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following service:
Service / contract reference: ____________________
Ordered on (*) / received on (*): ____________________
Name of consumer(s): ____________________
Address of consumer(s): ____________________
Signature of consumer(s) (only if submitted on paper): ____________________
Date: ____________________
(*) Delete as appropriate.
An order reference helps locate the contract but is not required if your declaration otherwise identifies it sufficiently. You do not need an account login or a reason to withdraw.
5. Cancellation and business customers
Ordinary cancellation stops renewal or ends service according to the agreed term. Contact info@getevident.app with enough information to identify the contract. Withdrawal and termination for good cause are separate rights and are not restricted by an ordinary notice period.
Business customers do not generally have the consumer distance-contract withdrawal right. Any agreed cancellation/refund terms and statutory remedies still apply. This policy does not introduce a blanket “no refunds” rule.
6. Other refunds and statutory remedies
If you notice a duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charge, contact us with its date, amount, and invoice or transaction reference if available. Do not send complete card details or security codes. We investigate and return amounts that were not owed.
Where a service is defective or not provided as agreed, you retain statutory rights, including requiring a remedy and, where the legal conditions are met, reducing the price, terminating the contract, and obtaining repayment. Consumer rights for digital services under Sections 327 et seq. BGB and claims for damages remain unaffected.
We do not promise an additional universal money-back period. Any voluntary refund promise in your specific offer applies in addition to your statutory rights. Statutory deadlines take precedence over internal processing times.
7. Data used to handle a request
We use your contact details, contract information, and correspondence to verify and handle the request, meet legal duties, and document its outcome under Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Where needed to prevent misuse or establish legal claims, Article 6(1)(f) applies. See our Privacy Policy for retention and your rights.
